(Detroit, MI) -- Detroit firefighters responded to a number of arson fires last night and early this morning. Officials found evidence of gasoline used in two fires in unoccupied homes on the city's west side. Crews responded to approximately seven fires on the west side and several more on the lower east side. Volunteers who have been patrolling the street as part of the Angels' Night campaign said there was not a lot of activity early in the evening but that quickly changed a few hours later. The City of Detroit has a curfew in effect for those under 17-years-old through 6:00 a.m. Friday morning.
