(Plymouth, MI) -- A 37-year-old Northville man accused of running away with a 15-year-old Plymouth Township girl is facing several charges. Yesterday, Robert Messer was arraigned on one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of accosting a minor. Sunday, Messer and Emily Lalinsky left notes for their families saying they were leaving together because they were in love. The pair was found in a Washtenaw County field on Tuesday and both had self-inflicted, non life threatening wounds. Messer is being held on a two-million-dollar bond and is scheduled to return to court November 8th for a preliminary exam.
