Controversial Toronto Mayor Not Coming To Ann Arbor

(Undated) -- The controversial crack-smoking mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford, will not be at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on New Year's Day for the 2014 NHL Winter Classic. This year's matchup features two classic Original Six rivals as the Detroit Red Wings host the Toronto Maple Leafs. In November, Ford told the Toronto Star that he would be at the game to support his hometown Leafs. But border officials made it known there was a possibility he would not be able to cross the border because of his admissions to past crack use and drinking binges.
