SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Will Adams hit a 3-point jumper at the buzzer to lift McMurry to a 73-71 win over University of Texas-San Antonio last night. Alfred Perez set up the game-winner by grabbing the defensive rebound with six seconds remaining and getting the ball to Adams. The Roadrunners led by as many as seven points late in the second half before McMurry closed the gap.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Alandise Harris scored 21 points as Arkansas held on for an 89-78 win over former Southwest Conference rival SMU. The Razorbacks were 11 of 22 from behind the arc. LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Jaye Crockett scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Texas Tech to an 80-71 win over Texas Southern last night. Dusty Hannahs came off the bench and scoring 17 of his 19 points for the Red Raiders in the second half. Jose Rodriguez led Texas Southern with 29 points and 10 rebounds.
