(Detroit, MI) -- The city of Detroit and a coalition of city labor unions have reached a tentative five-year-collective bargaining agreement. In the Detroit News federal mediators are quoted saying, "The unions are critical partners in the effort to bring our city back. We are on the front lines." The terms of the new deal have not yet been revealed with those involved only saying the they are fair and balanced for both the city and the workers.
