Police Arrest Detroit Prisoner Who Escaped Last Month

(Detroit, MI) -- A 25-year-old man who escaped from a Detroit correctional facility late last month is back in police custody. Michigan State Police and the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested Adrian Clay yesterday afternoon on Faircrest Street in Detroit. Clay fled from a van taking six prisoners to the Detroit Detention Center for a work detail on December 28th. He was scheduled to be released from prison in April when he escaped and is now being held at the Detroit Reentry Center.
