Fired Wayne State Professor Claims School Defrauded Government In Grants

(Detroit, MI) -- A fired Wayne State University professor claims in a whistleblower lawsuit that the school improperly netted 169-million dollars in federal grant money. Christian Kreipke claims in the 2012 litigation that was just unsealed that salaries and costs were inflated to secure more money for various research projects. The university disclosed that Kreipke was let go for fabricating and falsifying data, and through a statement promised to defend itself aggressively.
