Police Say Shooter Wanted Man To See Daughter Die

(Inkster, MI) -- Michigan police say a 24-year-old man charged with shooting a two-year-old girl to death in Inkster wanted the child's father to watch her die. Raymone Bernard Jackson was arraigned yesterday on charges including murder and torture for the death of the girl. State police would not confirm speculation by Inkster Police Chief Hilton Napoleon that the crime was retaliation for a spring shooting. A 12-year-old girl and the victim's father were also shot and remain hospitalized.
