Postings By Jurors Could Lead To New Murder Trial

(Mount Clemens, MI) -- Attorneys for a 21-year-old Clinton Township man convicted of first-degree murder are asking for a new trial after two jurors posted comments on social media. In the motion for a mistrial the lawyers claim the jury foreman complained about being picked to be a juror then discussed the case on Facebook during the trial. A second juror is accused of making comments on Facebook just hours after the verdict was reached about coverage of the case in a local newspaper. Wilson was found guilty June 2nd of shooting and killing 31-year-old Willie Clark during an argument in May of 2013. A hearing on the motion for mistrial will be held June 16th.
