State Police Recruiting Seminar Set For Saturday

(Detroit, MI) -- Michigan State Police will be holding a recruiting seminar this weekend in Clinton Township. It will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Macomb Intermediate School District in the 44-thousand block of Garfield Road. State Police are looking for another 200 recruits for its next Trooper recruit schools in June 2014 and January 2015. Upon graduation, new officers earn 44-thousand dollars a year with a raise up to nearly 52-grand after one year on the job.
