(Ann Arbor, MI) -- A young girl is being treated after being bitten by a rattlesnake. Authorities say the child was bitten Wednesday by an Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake while at the University of Michigan's Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Officials with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources say the rattlesnake is the state's only venomous snake. The girl, whose name and age have not been released, is being treated at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
